Regalia Policy for Commencement:
To ensure a dignified and uniform Commencement Ceremony, all graduates must wear the official cap and gown provided by Connors State College’s designated vendor. Only academic honors cords and stoles that have been approved in advance by the Office of the Registrar are allowed. Stoles provided by state and federally recognized tribes are welcomed and do not require prior approval. Students or campus organizations requesting approval for a stole should email cscregistrar@connorsstate.edu and are strongly encouraged to include a photo of the item. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks before the ceremony.
Graduates may decorate their caps to express themselves, but all decorations must be family friendly and appropriate for a formal academic event. Caps featuring inappropriate language, images, or messages will not be permitted. Graduates who do not follow the regalia policy may be required to remove unapproved items or may be prohibited from participating in the ceremony. For questions or concerns, please contact the Office of the Registrar at cscregistrar@connorsstate.edu.
