We are excited to announce the 2025 Commencement Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of our graduates!

Date & Time: Friday, May 9th, 2025, at 7:00 PM

Location: Muskogee High School’s Rougher Village

Details for Graduates and Guests:

Doors Open: 5:30 PM
Graduate Line-Up: All graduates must be lined up no later than 6:45 PM.
Graduate Entrance: Please enter through the west side of the building near the football field.
Guest Parking: Parking will be available on the east side of Muskogee High School, with convenient shuttle services running to the front entrance of Rougher Village.

Questions & Answers

What time does the ceremony start?: The ceremony begins at 7:00 PM.
Where will the ceremony be held?: It will be at Muskogee High School's Rougher Village.
When do doors open for guests?: Doors open at 5:30 PM.
How long does the ceremony usually last?: The ceremony typically lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours.
What time should graduates arrive?: Graduates must arrive and check-in by 6:45 PM.
Where should graduates enter?: Graduates should enter through the west side of the building, next to the football field.
What should graduates wear?: Graduates should wear their cap, gown, and any approved cords or stoles. Regalia can be order at via this link. Please avoid bulky items or high heels for safety while walking.
Can graduates decorate their caps?: Graduates are more than welcome to decorate their caps with appropriate themes.
Is there reserved seating for guests?: Seating is first-come, first-served.
Where can guests park?: Parking is available on the east side of Muskogee High School, with shuttles running to the front entrance.
What accommodations are available for guests with disabilities?: Accessible seating and parking are available. Please contact Derotha Rivenbark at drivenbark@connorsstate.edu for additional information.
Are interpreters available for hearing-impaired guests?: Sign Language interpreters will be available.
Will professional photos be taken?: A photographer will be available to capture graduates' headshots prior to the ceremony and action shots as they receive their diplomas. Pictures will be posted to the Connors State College Facebook page after the ceremony. Graduates will be able to download these images at no cost.
Will there be a Commencement practice?: Yes, we will host Commencement 2025 practice at 2:30PM on Wednesday, May 7th and 11AM on Thursday, May 8th.
Do I have to attend Commencement practice to participate in the Commencement Ceremony?: You are not required to attend the scheduled practice times in order to participate in the Ceremony—though they are available if you'd like to join! If you're unable to make it, no worries at all. We'll have plenty of friendly faces there to guide you every step of the way. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎓✨
